AWS brings Lambda durable functions to both US GovCloud regions

AWS says Lambda durable functions are now available in its GovCloud US-East and US-West regions, extending access for government customers and regulated industries building multi-step applications and AI workflows. The feature lets developers save progress, recover automatically from failures and pause execution through operations such as "step" and "wait." Paused on-demand functions incur no compute charges. Developers can activate it for new functions in supported Python, Node.js, Go, .Net and Java versions through AWS interfaces or infrastructure configuration tools.
