Presley rights holders and Eminem publisher sue Suno over AI imitations

Elvis Presley Image: Primary
Rights holders of Elvis Presley's music and a publisher of Eminem records have filed two lawsuits accusing Suno of generating music and lyrics that imitate the artists, The Verge reported. Lawyers in the Presley case allege violations of Tennessee's ELVIS Act, which prohibits AI companies from cloning singers' voices. Suno said it blocks prompts naming specific artists and songs and uses third-party screening of uploaded audio and lyrics. The cases add to lawsuits the AI music company already faces from Sony, UMG, Jason Isbell and Reservoir Media.
