Google demonstrates Argon controlling robots and building physical simulations

Google demonstrates Argon controlling robots and building physical simulations Image: Primary
Google DeepMind says Gemini 4 Argon can control physical robots and construct simulations for manipulation tasks. Its demonstrations include a Boston Dynamics Spot robot stepping on a trash bin's pedal and dropping cans inside, after building a simulated version of the bin to practice the movements. Another demonstration uses a robotic arm to turn a fallen mug upright and place a napkin inside, checking camera images between actions. Google reports an 87% score on ERQA, a benchmark for physical and spatial reasoning in 3D environments. The examples combine model reasoning with robot action primitives and visual feedback.
