SAP adds Reltio and open lakehouse capabilities to Business Data Cloud

SAP adds Reltio and open lakehouse capabilities to Business Data Cloud Image: Primary
SAP says Reltio is now generally available in Business Data Cloud following completion of its acquisition, adding tools that reconcile customer, supplier and product records across SAP and third-party systems. The company also announced new lakehouse capabilities at SAP TechEd Berlin. Business Data Cloud now supports Apache Iceberg and a universal catalog powered by Apache Polaris. Dremio's query engine lets users query distributed databases and lakehouses without moving the data, SAP says. SAP also introduced Ontology Manager, which lets teams create task-specific views of business entities and relationships for AI agents. These views inherit definitions and governance from SAP Knowledge Graph.
