Kakao said it released Kanana-2-v-decide on Hugging Face under a license permitting research and commercial use. The multimodal model processes text and images and returns probabilities, choices or scores to help AI agents select tools, classify customer inquiries and assess product images. The company reported average response times of under 0.04 seconds on a single Nvidia H200 GPU, about 43 times faster than GPT-6 Luna. Its method compares numerical representations of queries and answer choices. Kakao plans initial internal deployments in web search and automated product classification.
