Google announced Gemini 4 Carbon with an 88.2% score on SEC-bench Pro for finding software vulnerabilities. The external cybersecurity benchmark evaluations ran without guardrails. Carbon follows Gemini 4 Argon, launched two weeks ago. Its introductory price matches Argon at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. Selected cyber defenders get access starting this week. Google will expand access to trusted partners through its Fairwind Program as it gathers feedback and adjusts guardrails. Access for developers, businesses and consumers is still forthcoming.
