Moonshot AI offered subscribers a 25% monthly quota reset after apologising for rate limiting and unnecessary quota consumption following its Kimi K3.1 Pro launch, Reuters reported. The company said the reset equals one week's usage; subscribers whose usage is below 25% have it reset to zero. Moonshot also said it adjusted parameters to reduce unnecessary calls to subordinate AI agents and shorten generated responses. The company previously faced computing-capacity problems after launching K3, while Chinese AI labs face computing shortages following US chip export controls.
