Lambda reportedly raises $1 billion in private debt for Nvidia GPUs
Image: DCD Cloud provider Lambda has reportedly secured $1 billion in short-term private debt to buy Nvidia GPUs, according to Bloomberg reporting cited by Data Center Dynamics. The company is expected to lease the chips to Microsoft under their existing GPU-access arrangement. JPMorgan Chase organized the funding and offered it to private-placement investors, the report said. Lambda did not comment to Bloomberg, and Data Center Dynamics said it had sought comment from the company.
