AWS makes OpenAI's Daybreak Red available to eligible GovCloud customers

AWS says OpenAI's Daybreak Red: GPT-5.6 Cyber is now available to eligible customers through Amazon Bedrock in AWS GovCloud (US-East). The model supports authorized vulnerability research, exploit reproduction and mitigation development, with fewer refusals for verified defenders and stronger identity verification, monitoring and access controls. AWS says the service enforces zero-operator access at the chip, does not use inference data for model training and does not require customers to share that data with OpenAI. Access requires enrollment in OpenAI's Daybreak program, followed by enablement through an AWS account team.
