Amazon unveiled three Alexa tablets Thursday that run Android and provide full Google Play Store access, TechCrunch reported. The new product line changes Amazon's tablet software approach from Fire OS and its own app store. The Tablet 8 starts at $229.99, the Tablet 11 at $329.99 and the Tablet 12 Pro at $499.99. Each includes Alexa+, with a feature that lets users ask the assistant for contextual help with material on screen. Sales begin October 14, 2026, in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, followed by the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain on October 19.
