Laser Photonics files for best-efforts equity offering

Laser Photonics filed a preliminary S-1 for a best-efforts offering of up to 7,142,857 common shares, with accompanying Series B-1 and B-2 warrants. The prospectus uses an assumed $1.40 price, based on the September 1 Nasdaq closing price, but says the final offering price will be negotiated and may differ. The company may also sell pre-funded warrants in place of shares to certain purchasers. H.C. Wainwright is the exclusive placement agent. The offering is scheduled to end September 10 unless it closes or is terminated earlier.
