Chinese chip foundry CanSemi files for Shenzhen IPO

Chinese chip foundry CanSemi Technology has filed for an initial public offering on Shenzhen's ChiNext market, Bloomberg reports. It is seeking to raise about 6.16 billion yuan ($919 million). CanSemi focuses on chips for automotive, industrial and internet-connected devices. The filing sets out a proposed capital raise; it does not establish how much the company will ultimately receive.
