Laya releases open-source schema decision models
Image: Primary Laya released three open-source checkpoints for structured AI decisions, according to its launch materials. The system uses bidirectional encoders to return choices, ordinal scores or Boolean probabilities instead of generated text, with a router that selects models by language script.
Laya says its weights are Apache 2.0 licensed and its SDK can download individual checkpoints from a shared repository. The developer says base models require task-specific fine-tuning for stronger results. It also reports that choice performance declines when schemas exceed 20 options.
