General Compute signs Cerebras inference deal targeting Q1 2027 capacity

General Compute Deploys Cerebras Inference for Coding Agents Image: Primary
General Compute and Cerebras announced a multi-year agreement on Sept. 29 to deploy Cerebras inference systems for General Compute customers, with capacity expected to open in the first quarter of 2027. Coding agents are the first planned workload. General Compute says it will finance and operate the hardware and sell dedicated capacity under its own commercial arrangements. The deployment will be the first draw on its previously announced $400 million debt facility from Upper90. The companies target workflows that make sequential model calls while reading code, proposing changes and running tests. They announced no customer pricing or independently measured performance for the planned deployment.
