Globalinx buys Virginia Beach land for 25MW cable-landing expansion
Image: DCD Virginia Beach's Development Authority agreed this month to sell Globalinx nine acres in Corporate Landing Business Park for $1.8 million, according to local reporting cited by Data Center Dynamics. The land is intended to support a third campus phase: an 85,000-square-foot, 25MW facility projected to cost $65 million. Globalinx says the project would add cable landing stations, carrier-neutral colocation and interconnection space. No development timetable was disclosed.
