AWS adds item and attribute filtering to DynamoDB exports

Amazon DynamoDB now lets users select which items and attributes to export to Amazon S3, AWS announced. The capability works with both full table exports and incremental exports over a time window. Users can select items through key conditions and attribute filters, then choose fields through a projection expression. AWS says the resulting subsets support granular recovery, moving data between accounts and analytics that meet compliance rules. Filtered export is available in all AWS Regions except the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions.
