D-Wave Quantum Inc. announced that it will present new scientific results at the American Physical Society's Global Physics Summit on March 15 to 20, 2026, in Denver, Colorado. The company said D-Wave researchers will present a talk on scaling advantage in approximate optimization with quantum annealing during the event. The presentation is scheduled for March 18, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:06 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Trevor Lanting, chief development officer at D-Wave, said the Global Physics Summit is an important forum for sharing scientific progress with the global physics community. The work to be presented reflects meaningful advancements in performance, scalability and real-world applications, according to Lanting. D-Wave is focused on translating these technical breakthroughs into capabilities that help customers solve complex problems better, faster and more efficiently than classical approaches, he said. The company said the research presentations highlight advances in programmable quantum dynamics and optimization as part of technical developments in annealing and gate-model quantum computing.
