Apple Testing Four Smart Glasses Designs to Rival Meta Ray-Bans

Apple Testing Four Smart Glasses Designs to Rival Meta Ray-Bans Image: Primary
Apple is reportedly testing four different styles for its upcoming smart glasses, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The designs include: a large rectangular frame comparable to Ray-Ban Wayfarers, a slimmer rectangular design similar to glasses worn The product, internally code-named N50, will compete directly with Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. Apple is working on colors including black, ocean blue, and light brown. The glasses will capture photos and videos while syncing with the iPhone ecosystem for editing, sharing, calls, notifications, and Siri integration. Apple could reveal the product as soon as late 2026 or early 2027. The release may coincide with an improved Siri expected to arrive with iOS 27. The move represents Apple's entry into the smart glasses market after competitors including Meta have already established products. Meta recently released its latest Ray-Ban Meta model with prescription lens support and customizable fit options.
