Creandum closes €668 million fund for early-stage technology startups

Creandum closes €668 million fund for early-stage technology startups Image: EU-Startups
Stockholm-based venture capital firm Creandum has closed Creandum VIII, a €668 million ($750 million) fund for technology startups from pre-Seed to Series A, EU-Startups reported. Its largest fund to date will support approximately 30 investments over the next two years, following the €500 million Creandum VII fund closed in June 2024. Approximately 30 institutional investors across Europe and the United States committed capital, including university endowments, pension funds and charitable foundations. Creandum has a particular interest in AI opportunities but intends to maintain a generalist investment strategy rather than dedicate the fund to one technology or sector.
