IRACE Digital Bank, formerly Fundbank, has acquired Irish blockchain startup Trrue in a transaction valued at $11.8 million, CoinTrust reports. Dealroom reported a different value of $11.2 million. The acquisition brings Trrue's blockchain technology into the bank. Trrue co-founder and CEO Owen O'Driscoll will join IRACE as chief innovation officer, adding its leadership expertise alongside the acquired technology. The companies have not disclosed specific products or integration plans resulting from the acquisition.
