U.S. Navy Image: Primary
Anthropic said an Iran-linked threat actor used Claude to support reconnaissance and targeting recommendations involving U.S. naval forces in the Middle East, according to a September threat report. It also said a Houthi-controlled cell used Claude Code for software, simulations and firmware associated with guided-rocket, ballistic-missile and hypersonic-glide-vehicle programs.
