Developer seeks environmental screening for potential Cambois data-center campus
Image: DCD TBC Partners has asked Northumberland County Council for a screening opinion on whether an environmental impact assessment is needed for a proposed data-center campus at Factory Road in Cambois. The 12-hectare site could contain one or two main data-center buildings and an on-site substation. TBC's website suggests the campus could total 300MW, while construction documents indicate a roughly 24-month build and operation from 2030 to 2035. A full planning application has not yet been filed.
