Spott raises €18.3 million to expand recruitment software

Leuven-based Spott has raised €18.3 million ($21 million) in a Series A led by Balderton Capital, with Base10 Partners, Y Combinator and Fortino participating. The recruitment-software company plans to use the funding for expansion in the US and Asia-Pacific, enterprise features and additional engineers for AI agents. Spott combines applicant tracking and customer management with tools that turn emails, CVs, candidate databases and pipeline records into searchable information. It plans offices in Sydney and New York and aims to increase headcount from 44 to around 60 by year-end. Spott says its revenue has grown more than tenfold since the start of 2026.
