Vercel adds experimental Jev decision API to Python SDK

Vercel adds experimental Jev decision API to Python SDK Image: Primary
Vercel released a Python AI SDK update with an experimental evaluate() API for Jev, a model that selects among defined answers rather than generating free-form text. Developers can access it with an AI Gateway key and submit text or structured data alongside questions. The API supports choosing an answer, scoring input on a defined scale and estimating whether a statement is true. Vercel says responses conform to specified types and choices. Its examples also expose limitations: Jev misclassified a partially typed Python expression, and an experiment generating code produced syntactically valid but mostly incorrect programs.
