Serve Robotics opens connectivity and data business for other robot makers

Serve Robotics opens connectivity and data business for other robot makers Image: Primary
Serve Robotics announced a new Physical AI Services business on Thursday to sell connectivity and data tools to other robot developers. The company named construction autonomy startup Bedrock Robotics as a customer and said it was working with T-Mobile to bring AI computing closer to robots. Its Serve Link product connects robots in the field to AI systems in data centers. Two other offerings identify unusual situations in collected data for model training and provide a catalog of real-world data from Serve's sidewalk robots. Serve will continue its delivery and hospital robot businesses; the new line extends technology developed for its own fleets to outside customers.
