The company's framework helps developers build applications for iOS, Android and web using React Native, a Meta Platforms library that extends the React web framework to mobile platforms.
Expo generates revenue through paid cloud services that automate development tasks, including a build service that performs hardware-intensive compilation in the cloud. The company also offers hosting for server-side components and a new AI-powered programming assistant called Expo Agent that provides coding tips, bug fixes and integration help.
