Cohere expands Model Vault to external models and additional regions

Cohere expands Model Vault to external models and additional regions Image: Primary
Cohere added external open models to Model Vault on November 3, expanding the choices available on its dedicated AI infrastructure, a note article reported. Supported families include DeepSeek, Gemma, GPT-OSS, Phi, Qwen and Mistral-based models. Standard Vault is now available in the EU and Canada as well as the United States. Customers access models through an OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API and pay by GPU time rather than tokens. Model Vault Encrypted, which protects data during processing through confidential computing, remains available only in the United States. A Vault's region cannot be changed after creation, and model and GPU availability varies by region.
