AWS lets SageMaker AI Studio use replicated workforce identities across regions

AWS says SageMaker AI Studio now supports IAM Identity Center replication across regions, allowing customers to deploy Studio domains outside the region hosting their primary identity instance. Previously, the primary instance and Studio domain had to reside in the same region. Customers can replicate their primary identity instance into a region where they want to operate Studio, retaining centralized workforce identity management and single sign-on. This lets administrators choose Studio regions to match workforce locations and data residency requirements. Support is available in all standard AWS Regions where SageMaker AI Studio is supported.
