Mozilla has expanded Firefox's opt-in Smart Window beta with AI chats that can use current web information and show source links through an Exa partnership. The update also suggests tab groups and lets natural-language history searches display visual previews of previously visited pages. Mozilla says users can choose supported models, including local models, and can disable AI features individually or altogether. Smart Window has no stated date for leaving beta.
