Pentagon says it has ended use of Anthropic products

Pentagon says it has ended use of Anthropic products Image: Primary
The Pentagon has completed its phase-out of Anthropic products, the BBC reported, citing the US Department of Defense. The removal followed a dispute over Anthropic's insistence on contractual restrictions against mass surveillance of US citizens and use in autonomous weapon systems. The Pentagon rejected those restrictions, declared Anthropic a security risk and began removing its technology. Legal proceedings are underway. Several anonymous individuals told the BBC that Anthropic's AI remained in use until a few days ago and had been a critical tool for sifting through large amounts of military information.
