Micron Taiwan union rejects bonus offer as strike vote remains possible

Micron announced a NT$1 million one-time cash bonus for eligible Taiwan employees as part of a reward package, while the union representing workers at its Taoyuan plant rejected the proposal. The source says Taiwan employees who joined by August 29, 2025 are eligible for the flat payment, and direct labor workers would receive at least NT$1.7 million in total cash compensation. A second mediation session is scheduled for September 21; the union says it plans a strike vote if talks fail.
