AI chip design startup ChipAgents has received an additional $60 million in an expanded Series A funding round, six months after its original Series A close. The company said in a statement that new investor B Capital joins Bessemer Venture Partners, Micron, MediaTek, and Ericsson, who participated in the initial October 2025 raise. This additional funding brings the total raised by ChipAgents to $134 million and will be used to support its next phase of expansion. The company plans to scale customer deployments, grow its engineering and go-to-market teams, and accelerate platform deployments. Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, ChipAgents offers a platform that uses agentic AI to accelerate RTL code verification, debugging, and design optimization. The startup said its customers achieve 80 percent higher productivity in verification compared to standard industry practices and reported a 6,377 percent increase in monthly platform usage in the first half of 2025. More than 120 semiconductor companies, including MediaTek and Micron, have deployed the platform. William Wang, CEO and founder of ChipAgents, said the industry faces simultaneous pressures of increasing architectural complexity and time-to-market demands. He said the company is enabling the industry to move beyond AI assistants toward autonomous agents that can execute meaningful engineering work.
