Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai posted on X on Tuesday that the company's second-quarter revenue grew 24% year over year and Google Cloud revenue accelerated to 82% growth. Pichai attributed the results to the company's artificial intelligence investments. Pichai said the Gemini app reached 950 million monthly active users. He added that model application programming interfaces are processing 22 billion tokens per minute, up from more than 16 billion last quarter, driven by Flash models. Pichai also said Gemini Enterprise is used by 90% of the Fortune 100 and noted strong demand for security solutions. He thanked partners and employees and said he was about to join the earnings call.
