Oman, UAE, and Italy sign green data center agreement
Five companies from Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Italy have signed an agreement to develop a hyperscale AI data center in Oman.
The planned facility will have 150MW capacity and incorporate renewable energy and high-efficiency systems.
The partners include Dubai-based Corpolgia, Omani Ahlam Group, Italian firms Forte Secur Group and Vitali, and Genoa-based RINA. The deal was signed during Oman Sustainability Week and supports the country's Vision 2040 economic diversification goals.
