Gigabyte rolls out BIOS support for upcoming Intel CPUs on B760 and H610 boards

Intel Core Series 2 CPU Image: Primary
Gigabyte is rolling out a BIOS update across its Intel B760 and H610 motherboard lineup to support upcoming Intel processors, Tom's Hardware reports. The company says owners will be able to upgrade CPUs without replacing their motherboards, with the processors expected in early 2027. The update covers both DDR4 and DDR5 versions, preserving the option to reuse existing memory as memory prices rise. The announcement excludes Z690, Z790 and B660 boards despite their shared LGA 1700 socket. Gigabyte has not disclosed processor models, specifications or pricing.
