SpaceXAI reported to adopt Nvidia Vera CPUs for AI buildout
Image: Primary SpaceXAI will deploy Nvidia Vera CPUs for CPU-intensive work supporting its agentic AI applications and Grok infrastructure, Nvidia announced August 24. The company also plans to base a first-generation Starmind AI satellite on an optimized Vera Rubin NVL72 system, according to the announcement. SpaceXAI says its infrastructure is scaling toward gigawatts of computing capacity. Nvidia says Vera is designed to handle orchestration, code execution, data processing and simulations between model calls, with the aim of keeping GPUs utilized.
