RemoveMacAI offers reversible removal of macOS 27 AI models

Turn off Apple Intelligence on macOS 27 and get its disk space back. One command, fully reversible. - omlahore/RemoveMacAI Image: Primary
RemoveMacAI can disable Apple Intelligence features on macOS 27, remove their downloaded models and block downloads from restarting, according to the project's documentation. The tool works on Apple silicon and requires users to approve a configuration profile in System Settings. It removes models through Apple's asset service while leaving System Integrity Protection enabled. Removing the profile restores previous settings. The tradeoff extends beyond Apple's features: apps using Apple's on-device models also stop working, while macOS deletes released model files on its own schedule.
