Nvidia confirmed to The Verge that it plans to expand official DLSS 5 support to GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs after optimizing the technology for RTX 50-series cards. The company said its immediate focus remains RTX 50 and expected model updates later in the fall. It did not commit to support for RTX 30- or 20-series cards, and said gamers will receive an on-or-off control rather than the granular settings available to developers.
