Oracle outlines OpenAI integrations for business workflows and security testing

Oracle announced an expanded collaboration with OpenAI on October 27, outlining products that connect ChatGPT and Codex to its business applications, data and cloud infrastructure. Oracle AI Workspace would let employees retrieve information and complete approved workflows through ChatGPT plugins. Oracle also described AI Security Mesh, a managed service using OpenAI cyber models to find and fix vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premises systems. Customers would define authorized testing boundaries while Oracle manages safeguards. App Composer would use Codex to build applications that Oracle deploys and operates on OCI. Oracle cautioned that the announcement outlines product direction rather than a delivery commitment, and that release timing and pricing may change.
