Standard Chartered Eyes Expansion of Crypto Custody Zodia

Standard Chartered is exploring a partial takeover of Zodia Custody, the crypto custody provider it majority-owns, according to people familiar with the matter. The bank seeks to merge parts of Zodia with its existing digital-asset operations. The move would expand Standard Chartered's infrastructure for institutional cryptocurrency services. Zodia Custody provides custody services for digital assets to institutional clients. Standard Chartered has been building out its digital asset capabilities as institutional adoption of cryptocurrency services grows.
