Anthropic plans enterprise data-retention option on customer cloud infrastructure

Anthropic plans a safety system later this year that would require enterprise users of its most capable AI models to retain data for 30 days while allowing them to keep that data on their own cloud infrastructure, according to Bloomberg. The planned change would replace an earlier approach in which Anthropic retained the data to help mitigate potential cyberattacks.
