Nvidia and UW release open protein design model RFD4-Proteina

Healthcare and Life Sciences Leaders Build on NVIDIA Image: Primary
Nvidia and the UW Medicine Institute for Protein Design released RFD4-Proteina, an open model that generates targeted protein designs and lets researchers search and refine them using molecular inputs, constraints and scoring objectives. Nvidia says it is available through partners including Hugging Face, Google Cloud and Benchling. Testing reported in a research draft found higher computational design success rates and generation throughput than evaluated baselines across protein binding, small-molecule binding, enzyme scaffolding and DNA binding. The model helps prioritize candidates for laboratory testing; experiments establish how those designs perform under tested conditions.
