Anthropic Enhances Claude Voice Mode: Revolutionizing Productivity Tools

Anthropic Enhances Claude Voice Mode: Revolutionizing Productivity Tools Image: Primary
Anthropic has enhanced the voice mode for its Claude AI assistant, adding features that integrate with Google Workspace and expanding access to its coding tool, the company announced. The updates move the system beyond simple dictation toward executing workflows such as managing calendars, reading emails and summarizing documents through voice commands, according to Anthropic's support documentation and recent coverage. Claude Voice Mode is available on the web and on iOS and Android mobile apps as a beta feature. It supports spoken conversation, seamless switching between voice and text in a single chat, web search during voice conversations and a push-to-talk option. The company's help center advises using quieter environments for better recognition. TechCrunch reported that voice mode is also rolling out in Claude Code, Anthropic's coding assistant, with the feature live for about 5% of users at launch and a broader rollout planned over the following weeks. Anthropic engineer Thariq Shihipar described it as part of a gradual rollout. The Claude Code version uses a voice command to toggle the feature and spoken commands to drive coding tasks. Android Authority reported signs of multilingual support and a push-to-talk option appearing in voice settings, suggesting Anthropic is still refining the interface and expanding accessibility. Voice mode remains described as a beta feature in the help center.
