London-based Tallia, formerly Revax, has secured €4 million ($4.5 million) in seed funding to expand its AI research and drafting platform for tax and accountancy professionals. Outward VC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales co-led the round, with participation from Portfolio Ventures, Expedite Capital and other investors. The platform connects generated responses to legislation, regulatory guidance and case law, and can incorporate a firm's internal documents and previous work. Structured review workflows let senior professionals examine reasoning and supporting evidence. Tallia plans to use the funding to expand adoption among tax and accountancy firms, where advisers retain control over client advice.
