Vercel adds Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.6 models to AI Gateway

Vercel adds Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.6 models to AI Gateway Image: Primary
Vercel has made Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.6 and MAI-Image-2.6-Flash available through AI Gateway, allowing developers to generate and edit images through its AI SDK or command-line tool with one API key and no provider account. Vercel says both models support photorealistic images, text rendering and targeted edits to products, portraits and layouts. They accept up to five reference images and produce output sizes up to 1536 × 1536. The company positions MAI-Image-2.6 for final assets where quality matters more than speed, and Flash for faster, lower-cost iterations.
