Microsoft is offering voluntary buyouts to around 60,000 employees as it cuts costs and reworks its workforce for AI, TechCrunch reported, citing Business Insider and Bloomberg. Chief People Officer Amy Coleman notified employees on Monday. Eligibility covers employees at vice president level and below on select teams in the U.S., Canada, India and U.K. Some workers, including those in data centers, sales and marketing, are excluded.
