KuCoin Nigeria receives conditional SEC approval for regulatory incubation

KuCoin Nigeria receives conditional SEC approval for regulatory incubation Image: Primary
KuCoin Nigeria received conditional Approval-in-Principle from Nigeria's Securities and Exchange Commission for admission into its Accelerated Regulatory Incubation Programme, according to a contributed article in The Next Web. The decision advances the exchange's regulatory review but does not authorize operations, customer onboarding or services to the Nigerian public. During the review, the company presented proposed products, onboarding procedures, fiat transfer arrangements, technology infrastructure, and governance and risk management systems. KuCoin Nigeria must complete the regulatory process and obtain the necessary authorizations before offering services. The conditional approval is neither a final licence nor an SEC endorsement.
