Tesla offers one year of free Supercharging with new Model 3 Premium and Performance purchases
Image: Primary Tesla is including one year of free Supercharging for buyers of new Model 3 Premium or Performance vehicles in North America, the automaker said on its website. The offer is subject to change or end at any time.
The promotion starts at delivery and cannot be postponed or redeemed for cash. Owners will still pay certain fees, including congestion charges if a vehicle remains plugged in after the battery reaches 80 percent when a site is busy. The offer does not apply to commercial use such as ridesharing, taxi, or delivery services.
Buyers who traded in a gasoline vehicle for the 2,000-mile Supercharging incentive can use the free year first and redeem those miles after the first year of ownership.
Tesla ended its lifetime free Supercharging offer in 2018 and has since run limited promotions, including brief revivals for Model S and Model X in 2019.
