Microsoft is investigating an Exchange Online incident that is delaying messages sent to and received from external domains. The company acknowledged the incident at 02:19 a.m. EDT after reports of intermittent "Server busy" errors affecting multiple mailboxes. Microsoft said anti-spam protections may be contributing to delays for a subset of users and is reviewing telemetry to identify the cause and mitigation path. It did not disclose affected regions, user counts or a restoration timeline.
