Snowflake makes shared streaming channels and direct interactive queries generally available

Snowflake says Elastic Channels and Zero-Copy Interactive are generally available, allowing customers to combine streaming ingestion and fast queries with fewer separately managed systems. Elastic Channels lets hundreds of data producers write through one channel into a destination, with Snowflake scaling ingestion automatically. Zero-Copy Interactive lets interactive warehouses query existing standard, dynamic and Iceberg tables without a specialized copy. Other parts of Snowflake's real-time analytics offering remain restricted: streaming transformations, which filter and reshape records during ingestion, are in private preview, as is its Kafka-compatible Datastream service.
